The vision: wheels within wheels, full of eyes

motdang

Be not afraid.

Mission: fuck-you money. Mood: weird. Byproduct: anti-genocide in the Mekong countries.

The vision · Ezekiel 1:18

“As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.”

Business 1, the map: every street, shop, price and hour from Mandalay to Phnom Penh, seen, named and answered in Thai, Burmese, Shan, Khmer, English and machine.

Shareholder value: maximized. Merit: accrued.

The problem and the mission

Ezekiel 37 · The valley of dry bones

Millions of customers.
None of them pays.

“Son of man, can these bones live?”

Yes. Payment that happens on its own, at every crossing, so quietly that nobody can say when it started.

The problem, in NaN's words, 14 October 2026.

Mission

Fuck-you money.

Mood

Weird.

Byproduct

Anti-genocide.

Each business ahead makes money first. Each one also leaves people in the Mekong countries harder to erase: paid, papered, mapped and on record, whatever their government does.

The terrain and the eight wheels

The terrain

We sit where three borders meet.

3

borders meet at the Golden Triangle: Thailand, Laos, Myanmar. The Mekong runs on to Cambodia and Vietnam.

4.6 million

Myanmar people living in Thailand, about a third of them unregistered (IOM, Nov 2025).

~600,000

people registered as stateless in Thailand, many of them from the hills (UNHCR).

Headquarters: motdang.net Co., Ltd., 48–49 Thai Wiwat Alley, Chiang Rai. Laila's money exchange is next door.

Sources: IOM Thailand, Nov 2025; UNHCR Thailand Multi-Country Office.

Remittance

We carry Burmese workers' money home.

Makes money

A fee and the exchange spread on each transfer, through Laila's counter next door and our own payment system.

Byproduct

Money keeps moving when banks shut or a border closes. Money is how people get out.

Mood

Today it moves by hundi: cash handed over in Mae Sai, paid out by a broker in Tachileik, settled by phone. Older than any bank.

Shareholder value: maximized. Merit: accrued.

Papers

We sell visas, companies and translation, both ways.

Makes money

SMART S and Non-B visas, treaty companies, translation from ฿1,500 for five pages, stamps at ฿100 a page.

Byproduct

Stateless and undocumented people get papers. A person with papers can own, travel and be counted, and is harder to erase.

Mood

The Mien carried a scroll called the Passport for Crossing the Mountains. Nobody can prove an emperor signed it. It opened doors for centuries.

Shareholder value: maximized. Merit: accrued.

Storage

We run our own servers, in more than one country.

Makes money

Hosting and storage, sold to other businesses that want their data out of one country's reach.

Byproduct

Birth records, land deeds and IDs kept where no government can burn them. A people with records can prove they were there.

Mood

The Karen lost their golden book and waited generations for it. The Hmong rode out the flood sealed in a drum. Keep the book in the drum. Keep three drums.

Shareholder value: maximized. Merit: accrued.

How the byproduct works

Everyday conveniences that double as an escape kit.

People use the map to find a pump repair, the remittance to pay a mother's rent, the papers to open a shop. Every use rehearses the way out: the route, the money, the documents. The day a government turns on its people, the kit is already in their pocket and already works.

Mood

Every year the Akha rebuild the gate at the village edge, guardians carved beside it. Nobody calls it a security budget.

Shareholder value: maximized. Merit: accrued.

Bot billing

We charge the bots that read us.

Makes money

AI agents and crawlers already read motdang every night. They pay per call, per answer, per booking, automatically.

Byproduct

The machines pay, so the people using the map, the papers and the remittance can pay less.

Mood

The giants Pu Sae and Ya Sae guard Chiang Mai for a buffalo a year. The city still pays. The oldest subscription in Lanna.

Shareholder value: maximized. Merit: accrued.

Merit ledger

We count merit (บุญ) in baht, next to revenue.

Each deal records the merit it made: temples, wells, schools, rice for the monks at dawn. Thai customers buy from a company whose merit they can see. Every account closes on two lines.

Shareholder value: maximized.

Merit: accrued.

Ezekiel 47 · The river from the temple

Waters to the ankles, then the knees, then a river to swim in.

Ankles · 6 months

Locals use motdang more than Google, with better results.

Knees · 1 year

Our own payment system, sold to other businesses. Companies and visas formed both ways, automated.

River · 5 years

A speaker's seat at Davos. Merch people wear to look cool.

“…and the leaf thereof for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:12 · Horizons from NaN's road-map cards

The mission
